Recently I installed the Redhat 9 in my old laptop – IBM ThinkPad 600. It is as easy as installing the OS of Windows family. Most of the hardwares can be found and installed successfully, however, the sound card cannot be detected by the system (Crystal 4237B). I found a dozen of websites that are about the Linux of ThinkPad 600. However, I still cannot install the driver, even follow the steps correctly. I’m still studying hard on Redhat 9. It is more powerful and stable, also uses less resources than the OS of Windows family.
